I am an artist specializing in paper weaving,
transforming newspapers and discarded books into new forms and languages. In a
world of constant information flow, where distinguishing fact from fiction is
increasingly difficult, my work Newspaper Weaving’s explores the
fragility of language by turning it into "unreadable nonsense." By
destroying words and weaving paper, I create a metaphor for how we consume news
today. Drawing from my own experience with dyslexia, I want to remind my
audience that not everyone has the same access to written or spoken language.
